Next Step Resources
Thank you for your interest in Next Step, a ministry that assists parents in making the gospel clear, attractive, and accessible to 11-13 year olds.
We want to welcome you to our gatherings, typically on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. We are meeting in room 213 after the time of corporate worship. Please check your bulletin each week to confirm if Next Step is meeting.
So what do we do at Next Step? On the 2nd Sunday each month, we typically present a mini-teaching based on an aspect of the gospel or theology or practical note taking and listening skills. Occasionally we will have the class work on preparing the sermon for the next week, helping you grow in your Bible study skills! On the 4th Sunday of the month, we will usually review the sermon from the previous week, and you will be able to discuss application of the message in smaller groups. We also provide fun games and activities towards the end of class if time permits. Remember to bring your Bible, a pen or pencil, and notes from the previous sermon each Next Step. Next Step will endeavor to post discussion questions by the Thursday before each meeting. Please visit our website often to get these questions ahead of time and be prepared for Next Step! In addition, we also post previous examples of contests, sermon reviews, and teaching notes when used in class. Click here to download the questions.
