New Members Class

If the Christian life is a journey, what can I expect along the way?

The New Members class is designed for those who are considering embarking on a journey with us at Sovereign Grace Church. Over the course of eight weeks, our pastors will cover the core doctrines of our church and illustrate how those doctrines find expression in our members' daily lives. Some of the topics they will touch on include: the centrality of the Gospel, the process of sanctification, the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, the benefit of relationships, and the call to servanthood. Ultimately, the course exists to provide a context for us to get to know one another and for you to determine if this is the church for you. In addition to classroom discussions, we are looking forward to several informal fellowship opportunities that are built into the class schedule.

A new class begins September 19, 2010 through November 1, 2010. Cost is $8.00 per person and enrollment is a rolling membership which means, you can join the New Members Class at any time. You must be present for six of the eight sessions to be eligible for membership. For example, if you begin the class at week 5, then you should plan to attend weeks 6 - 8 in the present class and then attend at least two lessons in the next class.
