SUNDAY CLASS SELECTIONS
Our Sunday Class schedule beginning in June 2012 is designed to equip the saints for works of ministry. Classes being taught will support the vision and mission of Sovereign Grace Church.
Classes will be offered every Sunday at 8:30 am in the month of June. Childcare will be provided.

WHAT IS THE BIBLE GOOD FOR ANYWAY?
We have good preaching, the Holy Spirit and a fellowshipping community, what use is the Bible for us beyond a collection of do's and don't's? The attendee will learn that God has sovereignly shepherded these writings for his people. From the collection of its parts to the events it recalls, the deep meanings and difficult parts, The Bible is our witness to our only hope for Salvation: Jesus Christ. Come learn about the ways the Bible reveals God in Christ Jesus!

DISCIPLESHIP CLASS
Attendees will learn that discipleship is not what only "super Christians" do, but should be and can be what every Christian does. Practical steps for anyone to accomplish this will be discussed. We will learn and pray and grow together.

BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW
Attendees will learn the definition of worldview and its characteristics and distinct elements and will understand the basic questions that a worldview seeks to answer. In addition you will learn about he characteristics and elements that form a biblical worldview and why they are important for Christians.
Lastly hidden worldviews that compete with a biblical worldview and their impact on the Christian and how to apply the biblical worldview to life-—particularly in the areas of vocation and leisure will also be taught.

FIRST STEPS OF FAITH
If you are a new Christian, or simply want to know more about the basics of your faith, then this is the class for you! Come join us as we introduce and discuss exciting concepts like: Who is God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit? What is the Bible? What do I do now that I am a Christian? How do I grow in my faith? How do I stop sinning? How do I know for sure that I am "saved"? What about heaven and hell?
